Lon has been helping those nearing or already in retirement develop financial techniques for a more comfortable retirement since 1995. He specializes in retirement and estate preservation strategies along with legacy planning concepts for both individuals and businesses. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Lon also loves to work with veterans and is well-versed in providing guidance on veteran benefits, such as navigating through disability and health care options with the Veterans Administration.

 

Lon helps find alternatives to the usual “hang in there for the long-term” advice for those who are in need of enough monthly income in retirement to cover monthly expenses, medical bills, or just to enjoy time with their family and have an active social life. Lon’s clients who had a portion of their retirement assets in financial strategies designed to protect them from market volatility did not lose a single dime during the Great Recession of 2007 to 2009. This is a testimony to his ability to find solutions that match the needs of his client family. His goal is to help you find a potential strategy that will provide the lifetime income you want and need in retirement to live the retirement you’ve imagined.

 

Lon is married to his loving and talented wife, Dianne. They have two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren. When away from the business, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, racquetball, swimming, and is a longtime member of Toastmasters International. A North Carolina native, Lon served in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon.
